art is what you make it. so is this site. it will be a conglomeration of experimental work, as well as an outlet. as a small disclaimer, the original photo comes from parnasse.com's collection of elsie russell paintings. it is part of her vanitas still life series, and is entitled "the anatomy lesson".

the original idea for the title of this portion of the internet came from a 1230am manic rush, while contemplating a chipped nail. i was thinking how glass-half-full-or-half-empty it seemed, and suddenly had an awakening, in which i knew that i finally had to do something about the pressure building up in my mind. so here it is, do with it what you will.
